paro conseil is built on independence — we are paid by you, not by the products we recommend. We work entirely in English with long-term residents of France who would simply rather discuss their financial life in a language they're fluent in.
I founded paro conseil with a simple ambition: to put my experience in finance and asset management to work for clients who deserve straightforward, conflict-free advice — without the product-pushing that defines most of the French wealth advisory market.
My background combines years in financial markets and structured products with the independent advisory framework of a French CIF (Conseiller en Investissements Financiers). I work in both French and English, and I particularly enjoy working with long-term anglophone residents of France who want to understand the French system properly — without having to navigate it in a second language.
Our independence is real — not branded. paro conseil holds no capital ties with any financial institution. We do not receive commissions on the products we recommend. You pay us a transparent fee, and we work in your interest. That's the entire model.
Our approach is based on a durable, trust-based relationship: we take the time to understand your situation in its entirety before making any recommendation.
French wealth management is dense, paperwork-heavy, and written entirely in French — including most of the digital interfaces, the contractual fine print, and the annual tax returns. Even after years in France, many anglophone residents end up holding products they don't fully understand, with bank advisors whose incentive is to sell them more of those products.
Our work is different. We sit down with you, look at what you currently own (your assurance-vie, your PEA, your bank deposits, your real estate, your French pension entitlement), explain what each piece actually does for you, and identify what's worth keeping, what should be moved to better products, and what's missing.
You don't need to be a French finance expert. We do that part. You stay in charge of the decisions, in a language you're fully comfortable in.
A first 30-minute conversation is free. We use it to understand your situation, answer initial questions, and decide together whether we can be useful to you.
